Sellers Guide

Log in	In order to sell Season Card seats you must first register through the Official Aston Villa website. Once registered, you must always log in to the Aston Villa Seat Exchange through the Official Aston Villa website. If you are confirmed as a pre-approved Season Card Holder, a list of the remaining fixtures for the season will load on your screen.
List your seat(s)	Select the match that you would like to sell your seat(s) for. Click on the “Sell Tickets” link, which will bring up your personal menu for that fixture. Select “My Inactive Tickets” to view the ticket(s) for that match which you have not listed. Click on the “Listing Number” for the ticket you wish to list, and then select “Activate” to make the tickets available for fellow supporters to purchase. You can also make changes to previous listings that have not already expired or been purchased by visiting the “My Account” section. Listing on the Aston Villa Seat Exchange is free and you will not be charged until your seat(s) have sold. You can also withdraw your seat(s) from sale at anytime prior to purchase by selecting “Deactivate” on the Event page within your account. For public order reasons, Aston Villa has decided to limit access for the fixtures against Manchester United and Birmingham City – you will not be able to list your seat(s) for these matches.
When your seat is purchased	Your seat(s) will remain on the Aston Villa Seat Exchange until they are purchased by a fellow qualifying Aston Villa supporter (Season Card Holder or Registered User). When your seat is purchased, you will receive an email confirming the sale, the refund you will receive and that your Season Card(s) has been de-activated for the match(es) you sold on the Aston Villa Seat Exchange. The Aston Villa Seat Exchange will close for that match once 1,000 tickets have been sold or 72 hours before kick-off. If your seat(s) has not been purchased by this point, you will still be able to use your seat for the match if you wish and your card will not be de-activated. You will receive an email to this effect.
Getting paid	When your seat(s) sells on the Aston Villa Seat Exchange, there is nothing else you need to do except receive your payment. The value of your seat(s) minus the 10% seller fee will be sent to you by post 14 days after the match has taken place. The amount refunded per ticket sold on the Aston Villa Seat Exchange is calculated as the average match price of your Season [Card / Ticket] minus the Seller Fee of 10% plus VAT. For example: Category: CAT 1 - Adult Season Card Price: £475.00 Average Match Price: £25.00 Seller Fee: £2.50 VAT on Seller Fee: £0.44 Refund per Ticket: £22.06
